The sun is a passion

I love the sun. But I enjoy the cold. And I hate sunless cold. :(

There have been some ugly days around here, rainy and sunless. So, I’ve developed this light pattern, full of everything I like: orchids, light and colors. I’ve drawn it with india ink and painted with watercolor. I’ve finalized it in Photoshop. It’s likely I’ll make it into a dress.

I’ll share the results with you soon as possible.

Crazy geometricisms

I want to make a lengthy skirt, and so I’ve studied some color compositions inspiring in the navajo wave-like zig-zag. I want to print this pattern in gray fabric, and the colors will have a bias toward a darker tonality. For the moment, these are the color combinations I have in mind.

I love geometric patterns with a touch of organic style. <3

Floral pattern to scare the cold here in southern Brazil!

To draw this pattern, I tried to follow the winter 2012 tendencies: flowers that look like roses and petit pois. I painted the flowers in watercolor and tried to bring the hues for the winter 2012 color palette.

*rosy red, almost pink

This pattern will be used to make a silk shirt, like the example below. When it’s ready, I’ll show you the result. :)
